Parks Tennis KIT KAT Summer Camp

This year, 2008, our Kit Kat Sponsored Parks Tennis Summer Camp will place FROM JULY 14- 25th inclusive 

Registration at Rathangan Tennis Club SAT June 14th from 2-3 pm. 

Fees = members 25 euro, 

Non members 25 + 15 MEMBERSHIP= 40 EURO.  

THE kIT kAT CAMP WILL RUN IN THE AFTERNOONS 

each child willget 1 hour of coaching from a level 2 coach,on each of five weekdays for two weeks. 

All equipment, rackets, balls, insurance and supervision are provided. 

 Participants must be between the ages of 6 – 17

Places strictly limited.  First come first served basis with no reservations accepted.

Last years our camp was attended by 80 Children mostly non members

Children travelled from as far away as The Curragh, Newbridge, Edenderry, Walsh Island and Kildare. 

The event is very  generously sponsored by Kit Kat & the Kildare County Council Parks Tennis Scheme. 

The camp is run by Brian Stewart, a trained coach who provides expert tuition and

was supervised by some parents and members from the club. 

Some of the children choose to join the club and played in the autumn children's competitions and in the parent & child competitions in August and September. 

These competitions afforded all our children and juniors to compete for lots of trophies, medals and prizes and taste success at their own level. 

The sponsorship provided by the CORE local development group and ensures that all children can be accommodated and have the chance of winning a prize .

Club Membership is still only €10 per child.

The results of the competitions will be published on this site.
